Starting in 2024, with the permission of the city of El Segundo and donations from Chevron and the El Segundo Rotary, along with the support of many volunteers, we began planting a 1-acre strip of new habitat along W. Imperial Ave in El Segundo. We hope to see butterflies there in the 2025 season (typically July).

Community Engagement

We actively engage with the local community to raise awareness about the importance of habitat conservation. Through educational programs, public events, and conservation initiatives, we strive to inspire others to join us in our mission to protect the El Segundo Blue Butterfly and its habitat.
